Refund and Returns Policy

We want you to be satisfied with your order. Because our hardcover and paperback books are manufactured individually through print-on-demand fulfillment, and our ebooks are delivered instantly as digital files, our return process differs from a typical retailer holding pre-printed stock. This policy explains exactly what to expect.

1. Physical Books (Hardcover & Paperback)

1.1 Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Copies

If your book arrives damaged in transit, is defective (e.g., missing or misbound pages, printing errors), or does not match your order, we will replace it at no cost or issue a full refund, your choice. To request this:

  • Contact us at [REFUND_EMAIL] within 14 days of delivery;
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the damage or defect;
  • We will review the claim and, once approved, ship a replacement or process your refund within 5–7 business days.

1.2 Change-of-Mind Returns

Because each physical copy is printed to order specifically for you, we are generally unable to accept returns for change-of-mind (e.g., ordered the wrong format, no longer wanted). If you have concerns about an order, please contact us at [REFUND_EMAIL] before or immediately after placing it, and we will do our best to accommodate a cancellation before production begins (see Section 3).

1.3 Non-Returnable Physical Items

  • Books that have been read, written in, or show signs of use beyond inspection;
  • Orders reported more than 30 days after the delivery date;
  • Gift orders returned without the original order number or purchaser’s contact information.

2. Ebooks (Digital Products)

Due to the instant, irrevocable nature of digital delivery, ebook purchases are non-refundable once the download link has been issued or the file has been accessed, except in the following cases:

  • Technical delivery failure — you did not receive a working download link or file due to a technical error on our end;
  • Duplicate purchase — you were accidentally charged twice for the same ebook;
  • Wrong item — you received a file that does not match the title or format you purchased.

To request a refund under these circumstances, email [REFUND_EMAIL] within 7 days of purchase with your order number. We will investigate and, where the claim is verified, issue a full refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

3. Order Cancellations

Because print-on-demand production begins shortly after an order is placed, cancellation requests can only be honored if production has not yet started. Contact [REFUND_EMAIL] as soon as possible after placing your order if you need to cancel. Ebook orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been issued.

4. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout, processed through Stripe or PayPal (whichever was used for the original transaction). Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer’s processing times. We do not issue refunds in cash, store credit, or to a different payment method than the one originally used, except where required by law.

5. Shipping Costs on Returns

For approved damaged/defective claims, we cover return shipping (where a physical return is required) and any replacement shipping costs. For all other approved refunds, original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the entire order is defective or was shipped in error.

6. How to Start a Return or Refund Request
